Product methodology
How we test WriteBotics
We test the complete browser workflow, check representative inputs, and document limitations so results are interpreted responsibly.
Functional checks
We test empty, short, long, and unusual inputs; output controls; error states; keyboard use; and common mobile screen sizes.
Output review
We compare the input and output for meaning, readability, omissions, and obvious false positives. A passing test does not guarantee a perfect result.
Performance checks
We use production builds and browser audits to monitor loading speed, layout stability, accessibility, metadata, and crawlable page content.
Content checks
Guides are reviewed for current interface steps, working links, supported claims, helpful examples, and a visible modified date.
Important limitations
- The current tools run rule-based and heuristic processing in the browser; they do not search the live web or private academic databases.
- AI-content percentages are pattern-based estimates and cannot prove who or what wrote a passage.
- The plagiarism checker highlights possible phrase overlap from its local comparison logic; it is not a comprehensive originality report.
- Keyword metrics are directional ideas, not live search-volume or ranking data.
- Users must verify facts, citations, translations, and final wording before publication.
